Couch to 5K training with benefits: Fall Ton of Fun fitness and weight loss program kicks off Sept. 19
Participants are provided with a customized training program; weekly training workouts; and fitness, nutrition and lifestyle sessions

Join Fleet Feet Sports Sarasota and UnitedHealthcare’s Ton of Fun fall fitness and weight loss program and find fun and healthy ways to exercise and eat with like minded people. Photo 3: UnitedHealthcare’s Health Strategies Consultant Beth Granger leads an information session on setting and managing goals and ways to incorporate healthy eating practices into daily life.
With cooler and more ideal outdoor fitness training temps on the horizon, Fleet Feet Sports Sarasota and UnitedHealthcare’s Ton of Fun fitness and weight loss program, which kicks off September 19, 2016, is designed to get locals off the couch and back on their feet and living a healthier lifestyle.
Led by professionally certified Fleet Feet Sports Sarasota Coach and Director of Fitness Whitney Bartlett, participants are provided with a customized Couch to 5K training program and “graduation” event, two weekly training workouts with coaches and mentors as well as a variety of fitness, nutrition and lifestyle sessions from local community partners.

From goal setting to menu planning, yoga classes to navigating the grocery store, private Facebook chats and weekly e-news to UnitedHealthcare step contest, including free pedometer and prizes for top steppers and coupon book of deals and discounts, participants receive ongoing support, training and accountability to help get and keep them on track.
