SARASOTA, FL — A popular country music venue is closing its doors to make room for the expansion of a local brewery.

White Buffalo Saloon at 5377 McIntosh Road in Sarasota will shut its doors in that space for good June 19, the venue shared on its Facebook page. The owners said the venue will eventually reopen in a new location, which will be announced later.

Calusa Brewing has purchased the building and the land, and plans to move its taproom there, the Sarasota Herald-Tribune reported. It will turn its current location on Derek Avenue into its primary production facility. Calusa will also handle some production at the White Buffalo Saloon property.
