Decline Vaccine Appointments Twice, Get Removed From The Line

Anyone who declines a COVID-19 vaccine appointment twice will be taken out of the queue in Sarasota County.

SARASOTA COUNTY, FL — Anyone who is registered to receive the coronavirus vaccine in Sarasota County and declines a vaccination appointment twice will be removed from the queue, the county’s media relations officer, Brianne Grant, said in email.

To get back in line, they’ll have to confirm with the county’s vaccine registration team that they’d like to be put back into the queue.

The registration team can be contacted by calling 941-861-VAXS (8297) from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. To rejoin the line, you can also contact the county by direct message on Facebook and Twitter, or in person at the vaccine registration and information station at the Sarasota Square Mall, where vaccine clinics are held.
