Downtown Sarasota Festival Of The Arts Runs Through Sunday

SARASOTA, FL — The 33rd annual Downtown Sarasota Festival of the Arts will bring more than 200 award-winning artists to Main Street Saturday and Sunday, according to the festival website.

Works chosen for this free, outdoor festival will be displayed along Main Street between Orange and Links avenues, covering more than five city blocks, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days.

Because of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, there are numerous safety measures in place during the event, the festival said.

Booths will be spaced out and the festival has reduced the number of invited exhibitors this year.

Masks are required for all visitors, other than children under 2 years old, inside the show side. Social distancing will also be required between guests, and entrances and exits will be open to one-way traffic. And hand-washing and sanitizing stations will be set up throughout the festival.
