SARASOTA, FL — If you're planning to take to the road this Thanksgiving holiday, you'll find average gas prices of $2.41 per gallon around the Sarasota area, according to website GasBuddy.

That's lower than the national average of $2.59 but like anything else you may be able to find even lower prices if you shop around.

GasBuddy reports a low price in the Sarasota area of $2.19 per gallon as of Wednesday morning, Nov. 27.
