Ford’s Garage Grand Opening Scheduled Monday In Sarasota
The car-themed chain restaurant concept Ford's Garage serves burgers and beer. Its newest location is in the University Town Center area.

SARASOTA, FL — Ford’s Garage celebrates the grand opening of its new Sarasota location Monday at 6 p.m.
The chain will open its fourteenth Florida location at 295 N Cattlemen Road in the University Town Center area. Its Sarasota restaurant will be located across from Dick’s Sporting Goods and close to the site for the Mote Marine Laboratory’s new aquarium.
The restaurant was slated to open in early May, but the opening date was pushed back due to construction delays, the restaurant shared on its Facebook page.

“We are so excited to meet all of our Sarasota neighbors,” the restaurant posted on Facebook about its upcoming grand opening.

The car-themed restaurant concept, which serves burgers and craft beer, has a licensing agreement with Ford Motor Company to use the Ford name. It opened its first location in Fort Myers, where Henry Ford’s winter home is located, in 2012.
Other Florida locations include Brandon, Cape Coral, Clearwater, Estero, Fort Myers, Kissimmee, Lakeland, Orlando, St. Augustine, St. Petersburg, Tampa, Wellington and Wesley Chapel. Ford’s Garage also has restaurants in Dearborn, Michigan and Noblesville, Indiana.
Ford’s Garage is still building its Sarasota team and is hiring for all shifts and positions, including hosts and hostesses, line cooks, dishwashers, bartenders, serving assistants, and servers. Learn more about working for Ford’s Garage here.
