Get Golf Ready - University Park Country Club's Golf Academy offers gender and skill specific clinics

Newcomers to seasoned golfers can all up their game through University Park Country Club’s Golf Academy, where PGA/LPGA golf professionals help all ability levels and ages sharpen their skills to get the most of out their game. From individual instruction to Saturday morning drop-in clinics, afternoon golf clinics, the Get Golf Ready program, and multi-day golf schools and kids holiday golf camps, there’s something for any level or age golfer.

Golf Academy participants get treated to the visual and physical, including top level course grooming and lush landscaping that sets the perfect stage to engage golfers from tee off to post-game cocktails and snacks. This premier semi-private golf course is open to members and daily golfers. Golf instruction takes place at the expansive practice facility, which includes driving range, two putting greens, a practice bunker and chipping area.

Individual Instruction
Receive one-on-one personal attention from PGA/LPGA golf professionals that help sharpen skills and raise overall golf game. From specific aspects of the game to overall strategy, lessons are tailored to individual needs and interests. Available to juniors and seasoned golfers, options range from half- to full-hour lessons to Video Swing Analysis to one-hour and 9-hole playing lessons. Prices range from $35-$189.

Saturday Morning Drop-In Clinics
Topics include most aspects of the game and change weekly. Call the pro shop for weekly schedule.

Get Golf Ready is a program conducted in conjunction with the PGA of America and their “Grow the Game” initiative. This five-week series of 75-minute classes is designed for the new golfer or anyone who wants to be reintroduced. All aspects of the game are covered from putting to on-course instruction. Build a strong foundation for your future in the game of golf. Golf clubs included.

All aspects of the game are covered in more detail. Continue to learn the game of golf in a fun group atmosphere.
