Golf skills tune-up clinics offered by the Golf Academy at University Park County Club

The clinics are open to members and non-members

Summer golf is getting into full swing and to help local golfers get their game on, University Park Country Club’s Golf Academy is offering men and ladies’ skill-specific golf clinics in June.

Participants benefit from having Head Golf Pro Ashley Hayden and former South African Open Champion and Assistant Golf Pro Clinton Whitelaw share their skill, knowledge and acumen. The clinics are open to members and non-members.

Weekly Clinic Schedule

Time: 10:00-11:00 a.m. (same time for all dates)

Schedule: Men’s Clinics are held every Tuesday | Ladies’ every Wednesday

June 6 | June 7 – Overview of the basics; grip, alignment, posture & more

June 13 | June 14 – Short Game; master the bump & run

June 20 | June 21 – Fairway Metals & Hybrids; how to hit ‘em solid

June 27 | June 28 – Drills & Tips; how to practice the right way
