Humane Society of Sarasota County Joins Best Friends Animal Society’s Nationwide Adoption Promotion “Let Love In”

SARASOTA, Fla. – The Humane Society of Sarasota County (HSSC) is one of 160+ shelters across the country participating in Best Friends Animal Society's national adoption promotion “Let Love In.”

The national adoption event, Let Love In, brings together animal welfare organizations, like ours, across the country to help us all save more lives by connecting adoptable animals with their future families. Starting July 9, go to https://hssc.org/pets/adoption to see all of our adoptable pets and find your match.

“In a continuing effort to further our mission as a no-kill organization, this collaboration with Best Friends Animal Society is a great step towards the ‘No Kill Florida’ movement and the ‘No Kill 2025’ movement led by Best Friends. HSSC is always excited for partnerships to place pets into loving homes,” says Senior Director of Operations, Rebecca Gustafson.

Adoption fees for select cats and dogs are reduced to $25 on July 9-10.

All animals adopted from HSSC are up to date on vaccinations and flea, tick, and parasite preventives; spayed/neutered; microchipped, heartworm, leukemia, and FIV tested.
