Is This Man a Car Burglar?
Sarasota Police detectives think he may have been involved in a recent vehicle burglary and are asking for the public's help identifying him.
Sarasota Police detectives are trying to identify a man they believe was involved in a vehicle burglary in a downtown parking garage.
Police on Thursday released a photo of the man taken July 23 in a garage at 1289 Palm Ave.
Anyone with information on the man in the photo or the case is asked to call Detective Kim Laster at 941-364-7327. Or, leave an anonymous tip with Crime Stoppers by calling 941-366-TIPS (8477) or online at sarasotacrimestoppers.com.
"Recently, vehicle burglaries have been on the rise in the City of Sarasota and detectives want to remind residents to lock cars and vehicles when you leave and remove all valuables out of sight," police spokesperson Genevieve Judge said in a media release.
