The 2nd Annual “Giving Tree” holiday campaign at University Park Country Club helped make Christmas wishes come true for more than 50 local boys and girls including $1,200 in cash donations to Boys & Girls Club Manatee County.
Ranging from clothing to toys, electronics to bicycles, University Park Country Club members and residents selected individual “wish list” cards that were written by local children and hung on a special Christmas “Giving Tree” at University Park Country Club. The donated gifts were then delivered to Boys & Girls Club Manatee County prior to Christmas so the children would receive their gift by the holiday weekend. The cash donation was used by Boys & Girls Club to purchase additional gifts to fulfill as many Santa Claus wish lists as possible.
