Most thefts happened during the early morning where the scooters were parked in front of homes, and some locked with cables or chains, according to police. But those locks aren't enough, as thieves have broke the chains and took the lock with them in some cases, according to police.
Police advise that it's best to lock the scooter with a strong, thick cable or chain to a non-movable object or even better, park it inside a locked garage if available.
