Sarasota County Golfers win in Big Summer Golf Card's Big Money Tour
To qualify, golfers must be a BSGC holder and play at least five rounds at one or more of the 23 participating courses

Sarasota County resident golfers, including David Swanson, Clifford Menter, George Sherknus Jr., Jan Rosenbaum, and George Kukich captured cash and golf related prizes in the Big Summer Golf Card’s Big Money Tour in June.
In total, the Big Summer Golf Card distributed $5,000 in cash and prizes to 10 Sarasota, Charlotte and Manatee County resident golfers, each of whom golfed a minimum of five rounds at one or more of the 23 participating courses.

At a special awards event held at Rotonda West Golf and Country Club, Director of Golf Instruction John Elser presented the following awards on behalf of the Big Summer Golf Card:

About The Big Money Tour
To qualify for a monthly drawing, golfers must be a Big Summer Golf Card holder and play at least five rounds at one or more of the participating 23 courses. Players receive an additional entry into the drawing for each additional five rounds of golf played in a given month. Drawings are held on the 15th of every month for the preceding month and prizes awarded to the winners at a special presentation at one of the exclusive participating courses.
Every month between May and October, five golfers share in $2,500 of cash prizes, a Grand Prize of $1,000 plus two-$500 and two-$250 cash prizes. In addition, five golfers receive prizes ranging from golf certificates for complimentary rounds of golf at participating courses or golf equipment.
