
It looks as if the Sarasota County Technical Institute is very close to being complete, students be starting the fall semester on a fresh new campus.
Construction on the state-of-the-art institute began in May 2009 for Phase I and II, with Phase III recently completed this year. The institute's 75-acre campus at Beneva and Proctor roads has a total of three new buildings and or 344,000 square feet of classroom space.
A sign out front says the school administration is current looking for the right registered nurse to teach class instruction; anyone interested is asked to call, 924-1365 ext. 62417.
The school is also still enrolling students in a precision machining class that is set for August; interested pupils can call 924-1365 ext. 62283.
