Southwest Adds Daily Nonstop Flights Between SRQ, Atlanta
This new service between the Sarasota Bradenton International Airport and Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport begins March 11.

SARASOTA, FL — Southwest Airlines has added daily nonstop flights between the Sarasota Bradenton International Airport and Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. The service between SRQ and ATL begins March 11, SRQ said in a news release.
“It is great to see Southwest Airlines continue to expand the destinations they will offer out of the Sarasota Bradenton International Airport. This new flight will complement the seven other destinations that Southwest Airlines will be serving at SRQ. We look forward to welcoming Southwest Airlines to our airport and the community,” Rick Piccolo, SRQ president and CEO, said.
In November, Southwest announced the expansion of its Florida service by adding flights to and from SRQ for the first time.

- March 13: Columbus, Indianapolis and Pittsburgh
SRQ also recently announced new services from other airlines, including:
- Feb. 6: Philadelphia and Chicago (Frontier Airlines; returning seasonal services)
- Feb. 11: Houston (United Airlines; new service)
- Feb. 13: Denver (United; returning seasonal service)
- March 6: Trenton (Frontier; returning seasonal service)
- May 27: Peoria, Illinois (Allegiant; new seasonal service)
