Southwest Fla. Water Management District To Meet In Sarasota
Governing Board will receive an update on the Peace River Manasota Regional Water Supply.
The Southwest Florida Water Management District's Governing Board will hold its monthly meeting in Sarasota on Tuesday, and among the local topics includes the Peace River Manastoa Regional Water Supply.
The Peace River Facility provides water to Sarasota, Manatee, Charlotte and Desoto counties. SWFMD, as the agency is commonly known, meets 10 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 26, at the Sarasota Service Office, 6750 Fruitville Road.
