SARASOTA COUNTY, FL — Detectives are asking for the public’s help in identifying three suspects who pepper sprayed employees and stole several items from a store on Cattlemen Road, the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office shared on social media.

On June 16 just before 2 p.m., deputies responded to a theft at an unnamed store.

As the three suspects – two men and one woman – approached the store’s exit with several stolen items, the woman pepper sprayed employees, the sheriff’s office said.

The Sarasota County Sheriff's Office are looking for three suspects who stole items from a store and pepper sprayed its employees June 16.

They were seen driving away from the area in a black hatchback vehicle.
