Ton of Fun Weight Loss & Fitness Program Offers Life Changing Options for Adults and Teens

Free June 27 Information & Kick Off Session open to ages 12 years and older

Join the movement to help yourself, your family/teen and Sarasota/Manatee Counties shed unwanted pounds and live healthier lifestyles through Fleet Feet Sports Sarasota and UnitedHealthcare’s 2016 communitywide weight loss initiative, the “Ton of Fun” Challenge.

Led by professionally certified Fleet Feet Sports Sarasota Coach and Director of Fitness Whitney Bartlett, participants are provided with a variety of fitness, nutrition and lifestyle options from which they can try out and tailor their road to wellness based on individual goals and interests. Local professionals, mentors and community partners provide guidance, instruction and tips on setting and managing goals, navigating the grocery store, determining body mechanics, weaknesses and providing exercises to improve as well as supporting people every step of the way.

Information & Kick Off Session:

Monday, June 6, 2016, 6:00-7:30 p.m. (food and drinks provided)

Summer Session Dates:

June 27-August 18, 2016

Weekly workouts/information sessions (optional) take place Mondays (nutrition, menu planning, health/wellness), Tuesdays (yoga) and Thursdays (run/walk training) from 6-7 p.m. and Saturdays (run/walk training) at 7:00 a.m.

Cost:

$50/first adult; $30 for an accompanying teen (12 or older), spouse or friend ($350+ value per person)
