Dump Truck Overturns Along I-75 On-Ramp

SARASOTA, FL -- The northbound on-ramp to I-75 at Clark Road was shut down for a time Thursday afternoon after a dump truck overturned, according to the Sarasota County Sheriff's Office.

"The driver sustained injuries and is being transported to the hospital," the sheriff's office said on Thursday afternoon.

The sheriff's office later said that a single lane of traffic had reopened but that motorists should continue to use alternate routes if possible.
