The inspiration

This transformational program has provided thousands of Gulf Coast region elementary school girls with the opportunity to improve their self-esteem, confidence and gain valuable social and life skills. Roughly half of participants come from lower income and/or challenging home environments and through this after-school initiative, are provided with the opportunity to participate in a safe and interactive program that has proven to change girls’ lives for the better. Scholarships from UnitedHealthcare and other local supporters help many lower income schools and individual girls participate with the goal of inspiring girls to take charge of their lives and define the future on their terms.
