University Park Country Club LGA donation brings new uniforms to Emma E. Booker Elementary students

Kindergarten students at Emma E. Booker Elementary School will be receiving new uniforms to start the 2016-17 school year thanks to a $4,000 donation made by the University Park Country Club’s Ladies Golf Association (LGA).

In announcing the contribution, LGA President Elaine Kulbalko said the organization has donated more than $17,000 to Emma E. Booker Elementary School since beginning is sponsorship in 2012. “The opportunity to provide this year’s kindergarten students with new uniforms captured the enthusiastic support of our more than 130 members,” Kulbalko said.

Holly Heim, Emma E. Booker Elementary School Assistant Principal, said the contributions made by the LGA at University Park Country Club make it possible for students to come to school wearing brand new uniforms. “It’s critical to the overall success of our youngsters,” Heim added.
