US 301 Southbound Lanes Reopens After Bicyclist Hit By Car
The southbound lanes of US 301 from 17th Street to 12th street in Sarasota were closed Monday following an accident, police said.

SARASOTA, FL — A bicyclist was hit by a vehicle at the intersection of US 301 (N. Washington Boulevard) and 13th Street Monday afternoon, Sarasota police tweeted.
The cyclist suffered life-threatening injuries in the crash, which shut down all southbound lanes of US 301 between 17th Street and 12th Street. The lanes reopened around 3:30 p.m.
