Walk-Up Vaccine Clinics Scheduled Daily Through Saturday
The Department of Health in Sarasota County hosts walk-up COVID-19 vaccine clinics every day through Saturday at the Sarasota Square Mall.
SARASOTA COUNTY, FL — The Department of Health in Sarasota County has transitioned its coronavirus vaccine distribution to walk-up clinics only – no appointments required.
Clinics are scheduled daily through Saturday at the Sarasota Square Mall, 8201 S. Tamiami Trail in Sarasota, according to a news release from Sarasota County.
The Moderna vaccine will be given at these walk-up clinics, which operate Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and Tuesday and Thursday from 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.

These clinics are open to adults 18 and older. Bring a valid ID and a signed consent form, which can be accessed online here.
Those receiving their first dose will receive an information packet with instruction and information on when to receive their second dose of the vaccine. Those receiving the Moderna vaccine will get their booster shot about 28 days after their first dose. Walk-ups will not receive a second-dose appointment reminder, the county said.
