1. Tampa Bay Rays vs. New York Yankees

This weekend your Tampa Bay Rays take on American League East Rival the New York Yankees in a three-game series at Tropicana Field. Both the Friday and Saturday games begin at 7:10 p.m. and Sunday's game begins at 1:40 p.m. Do you gotta have more cowbell? 2. Kevin James at the Mahaffey

Star of 'The King of Queens' and dozens of hit comedy movies, Kevin James is coming to St. Petersburg Saturday. James is bringing his standup routine to the Mahaffey Theater at 8 p.m. Tickets for the show start at $52.50 and can be purchased at themahaffey.com. 

3. Rowdies Back in Town

Soccer comes back to Al Lang Stadium Saturday as the Tampa Bay Rowdies take on FC Edmonton. The game begins at 7:30 p.m. Tickets to the game can be purchased at the Al Land Stadium box office or online at rowdiessoccer.com. 

4. Jars of Clay

Sunday, Aug. 25. rock out to the 90s rock band Jars of Clay at State Theatre. Doors open at 7 p.m. Tickets to the show are $18 and can be purchased at the venue or at statetheatreconcerts.com. Opening acts include The Last Bison and A Friendly Reminder. 

5. Last Weekend of Saturday Market at Williams Park

Saturday marks the last weekend the Saturday Morning Market will be held at Williams Park until summer 2014. There will be no market for the next month until the Saturday Morning Market returns to its regular spot at the parking lot of Al Lang Stadium on Oct. 5. The market is from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.
