Applications Available For St. Pete Pet-Friendly Businesses
Businesses in St. Petersburg are now invited to apply to participate in the Mayor's Pet-Friendly Business program.
ST. PETERSBURG, FL -- Businesses in St. Petersburg are now invited to apply to participate in the Mayor's Pet-Friendly Business program.
This program is part of the St. Pete PAWS initiative, which strives to make St. Petersburg a place where pets are happy, welcome and healthy.
Participating businesses will receive recognition in the pet-friendly map, a window decal, a shareable social media graphic and additional resources.

Businesses that serve food are still required to obtain a Dog Dining permit through the Planning and Economic Development Department.

Participating businesses will need to fulfill certain requirements to ensure safety and enjoyment for all patrons and pay a yearly fee of $25.
St. Pete PAWS is an initiative led by the City of St. Petersburg, along with a collective of shelters, businesses, civic leaders and pet parents dedicated to making St. Pete a place where pets are welcome in homes, businesses and green spaces.
