Cassis Restaurant And Bakery Announces Reopening

Online seating reservations are open for customers to book at Cassis' reopening date and beyond as they have limited capacity in place.

ST. PETERSBURG, FL — Online seating reservations are open for the well-known St. Petersburg restaurant Cassis as it announced a reopening date after being closed like so many other local restaurants because of the coronavirus pandemic.

"Starting June 17, Cassis is excited to reopen our doors so that we may serve you once again," Cassis posted on its Facebook page. "We can't wait to see you and have put in place several changes so that we can do our best to keep you as safe as possible when you visit."

The restaurant will check the temperature of all employees prior to them working, and they are required to wear masks when arriving, while working and leaving the eating establishment.

They do encourage all guests to wear masks when arriving and exiting the restaurant. Placing a mask on your face while moving around the restaurant such as going to the restroom or to the bar is also encouraged. They ask the same for those who plan on getting a pastry or any of their baked goods from the Cassis bakery next door.

Reservations are highly recommended as they are reopening with limited capacity to ensure social-distancing. They will accept walk-ins.

The restaurant staff will be following state and local guidelines as well as all recommendations from the Center for Disease Control to ensure a safe environment for all, said a Facebook post by the restaurant.

Carry-out and delivery will also be available starting on June 17th. You can order takeout by calling the at (727) 827-2927 or order delivery through UberEats and DoorDash.
