The Dali Museum celebrated its building's 10th birthday Monday with in-person and online activities.

ST. PETERSBURG, FL — The Dali Museum building celebrated its 10th birthday on Monday.
The original Dali Museum in St. Petersburg opened in a small building in 1982. Jan. 11, 2011, the large collection of works moved to its current location worth $36 million, according to the Wall Street Journal. Residents and tourists continue to enjoy the building in addition to its café and outdoor gardens.
Architect Yann Weymouth of HOK designed the structure that features a rectangle with 18-inch thick hurricane-proof walls out of which erupts a large free-form geodesic glass bubble known as “The Enigma," the Dali website said.
