Council, Mayoral Forums Continue
Forums for St. Petersburg City Council and Mayoral candidates continue this week leading up to the Aug. 27 primary. Aug. 6 Bay News 9 and theTampa Bay Times are hosting a candidate's forum at the Palladium. The city sponsored forum is Wednesday night for all council districts at 6 p.m. at City Hall. HOW ABOUT THOSE RAYS?
Entering Monday's off day, the Tampa Bay Rays were 66-45 and just a game behind the hated Boston Red Sox for first place in the American League East. The Rays return to action with a road trip that opens Tuesday night at 9:40 p.m. against the Arizona Diamondbacks.Â
