Ed Broomes Takes Reigns Of Kids And Kubs For 2021-22
Barrett and Kalogeras elected to Director seats. Glauner ratains Treasurer's post. Jon Wilkinson steps down as President, served 10 years.
At an election held Thursday, March 19, 2021, Three-Quarter Century Club (aka Kids and Kubs) selected Ed Broomes, Director for the past two years, to step into the President's role. Broomes replaces Jon Wilkinson, who held the post for the past ten years. Wilkinson leaves the Board as the longest continuously serving President in the 91-year history of the Club.
Dave Glauner, the current Treasurer, retained his seat for the next two years, while the Board welcomes two new Board Members, Bill Barrett and Lou Kalogeras, who will serve two-year terms.
Barrett and Kalogeras will join a Board that includes Vice President; Will Michaels, Ed Asay, Secretary Glauner, Jerry Wollman, and Mitch Kanaan. The new Board will be seated at the Board meeting on April 8.

Broomes a member of the Kids and Kubs since 2016, from Cherry Hill, NJ, and living in Seminole, FL since 1970. He spent 31 years with the Saint Pete Beach Fire Department played softball with Indian Rocks Beach. Ed says he waited 40 years to play with the Kids and Kubs.
Barrett, a member of Kids and Kubs since 2017, is from New York City. A Marine veteran who retired from an industrial supply business played softball in Long Island in New York leagues for 18 years.

Kalogeras joined the Kids and Kubs in 2018 from Long Island, New York Lou is a practicing civil engineer consulting with clients in New York. Lou played 21 years of senior softball, including many championship teams throughout Long Island.
