Kids and Kubs Gerry Mayea In Fastpitch Softball Hall of Fame

Honored for dedication, and commitment to the sport of fastpitch softball

A newly formed Windsor, Ontario CA, Fastpitch Softball Hall of Fame, announced Gerry Mayea's nomination and unanimous induction into their Hall of Fame.

Mayea's many no-hit pitching performances, the founding father of the Windsor Fastball Umpires Association, and his umpiring skills are evidence of his talent, dedication, and commitment to the sport of fastpitch softball earned for him this Honor.

Mayea winters in St Petersburg and is a native of Windsor, Ontario, Canada. He joined the Kids and Kubs in 2016

Gerry's performance and contribution honored alongside many greats in Canada's fastpitch softball history. Mayea's legacy, along with other inductees, will be preserved on a website and a wall plaque displayed at the Windsor Sportsmen's Club and the Riverside Sportsmen Club.

The Hall of Fame's goal is to preserve the fastpitch game's legendary personalities, but the legacy of Fastpitch Softball in Canada for years to come.

The newly formed Hall of Fame has plans to sustain itself by including representatives from women's fastpitch organizations throughout Canada.
