Kids and Kubs vs. City Hall Stars Reset For Saturday, February 20
The event brings together city employees against an organization that has gained national renown for the city for ninety-one (91) years.
St. Petersburg Mayor Rick Kriseman’s City Hall Stars resume their rivalry with the Kids and Kubs on Saturday, February 20th, 2021. Announced Tuesday, (Feb 20) the recent rain out of the 50th annual Mayor’s game will be played with all scheduled events remaining in place as planned.
The site and time of the game, North Shore Park 901 North Shore Blvd, St. Petersburg, is at noon.
At 9:30 AM, a preliminary contest brings the TASCO TEENS to North Shore Park for their annual meeting with the Kids and Kubs. In 2020 the Teen Club brought a team loaded with power hitters, strong throwing arms, and speed onthe basepaths to defeat the squad fielded by the Kids and Kubs.

Played since 1971, the annual Mayor’s game has always been competitive. The event brings together city employees against an organization that has gained national renown for the city for the past ninety-one (91) years. The Kids and Kubs are the oldest, continuous senior softball organization in the U.S., going back to its founding in 1930.
