Man Killed In Single-Vehicle Crash At Roosevelt Blvd Exit: Police
A St. Petersburg man died when he was thrown from his SUV shortly after midnight as it flipped over just off Interstate-275 in St. Pete.
ST. PETERSBURG, FL — A 40-year-old St. Petersburg man was killed just after midnight Friday in a single-vehicle crash.
He lost control of his SUV on the exit ramp curve to Roosevelt Boulevard on Interstate-275 northbound, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. His SUV flipped over and crashed into a walkway bridge near the highway. As the car overturned, his body was thrown from the vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the crash location, according to authorities.
