Mother Nature Reigns, Postpones Kids and Kubs vs. City Hall Stars
A reported 0.9 inches of rain, three hours before, put the annual event underwater. Leaving the ground too wet for softball.
St. Petersburg Mayor Rick Kriseman’s City Hall Stars hope to resume their rivalry with the Kids and Kubs on Saturday, February 20, 2021. However, due to the recent rain out of the 50th annual Mayor’s game,
the date is undetermined until the parties work through the details. The site and time of the game, North Shore Park 901 North Shore Blvd, StPetersburg, at noon is not in doubt; however, exact time and date have yet officially determined. Last year’s February rain-out moved the game into the month of March.
If TASCO Teens can reschedule the event, thenat 9:30 AM, a preliminary contest brings the TASCO TEENS to North Shore Park for their annual meeting with the Kids and Kubs. In 2020 the Teen Club brought a team loaded with power hitters, strong throwing arms, and speed on
the basepaths to defeat the squad fielded by the Kids and Kubs.
