Son Accused Of Stabbing Mother Inside St. Pete Home: Police
A St. Pete woman's son has been arrested on pending charges after she was seriously injured by a stabbing inside a home, officers said.
ST. PETERSBURG, FL — Update: A 27-year-old man, Jabari Kalonji, has been arrested on pending charges after his 53-year-old mother was stabbed inside a St. Pete home in the 2300 block of 49th Street South, Tuesday morning, St. Pete police said.
The victim, Pamela Yerby-Cole, was last listed in critical condition at a local hospital, according to authorities.

Investigators are interviewing her adult son about the incident that occurred just before 8:50 a.m. at 2330 49th St. S., St. Petersburg. A suspect has not yet been named as it is early in the investigation.
The mother is at a local hospital with life-threatening injuries, authorities said.
