Motorcyclist Dies After Crashing Into I-275 Wall in St. Pete
The driver was pronounced dead at Bayfront Medical Center.

A St. Petersburg motorcyclist is dead after his motorcycle crashed into a wall on I-275 near the I-375 entrance ramp.Â
According to Florida Highway Patrol, 44-year-old Shannon Gardner was pronounced dead at Bayfront Medical Center.
Authorities said Gardner was traveling northbound on I-275 around 10:30 p.m. Tuesday when he was trying to pass another motorcycle. He then lost control along the curve of the interstate on the ramp to I-375.
The motorcycle crashed into the outside concrete barrier wall and was thrown onto the roadway, investigators said. Â
