Over 225 local businesses will be at Shopapalooza this weekend

Small Business Saturday is this weekend and there is no better way to kick it off than with a trip to Shopapalooza this weekend. Shopapalooza is a free event in Downtown St. Petersburg that celebrates local businesses and is now in its 10th year of operation. Over 225 local businesses will be present at the event from local restaurants and food vendors to gourmet food products, jewelry, clothing, home supplies, and more.

Local artists and live music will be present at the event on both days with music running all day long.

It's a perfect opportunity to get your holiday shopping started and also support local. The event is held at Vinoy Park and runs from 10AM to 5PM on Saturday, November 30th, and Sunday, December 1st.

The event is organized by LocalShops1. The mission of LocalShops1 is "to provide advocacy, support and education to locally owned, independent businesses throughout the region."

Organizers recommend recommend parking at the Sundial garage and hopping on the free Shopapalooza Trolley. The trolley runs every 15 minutes between the event and the garage.

The event is pet and family friendly.
