Overnight Road Work Closures On I-275 SB And Roosevelt Blvd

ST. PETERSBURG, FL — Construction crews will close Interstate 275 southbound ramp to Roosevelt Boulevard and 118th Avenue from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. on Monday and Tuesday nights for overhead bridge work association with the Gateway Expressway project, the Florida Department of Transportation said.

A detour to I-275 southbound at Ulmerton Road will be in place.

The detour is as follows, according to FDOT:

• Roosevelt Boulevard (SR 686): Use Exit 31 and continue west on Ulmerton Road for approximately one and half miles toward Roosevelt Boulevard.
• Detour for 118th Avenue: Use Exit 31 and continue west on Ulmerton Road, south on Roosevelt Boulevard to 28th Street. At 28th Street go south toward 118thAvenue.

Electronic message boards and detour signs will be used to assist motorists traveling through each detour route. Motorists should anticipate possible delays and congestion while traveling on these roadways during these closures.
