Parking on 1st Street to be Limited for Six Weeks

Work will proceed east along Eighth Avenue Southeast to the Albert Whitted Water Reclamation Facility during July and August.

Beginning Wednesday, May 8, on-street parking along First Street South between Sixth and Eighth Avenue South will be closed off to accommodate work on utility pipe construction.

According to the city of St. Petersburg, one lane of traffic and property access will be maintained in each direction during the project, which is expected to last six weeks.

Work will proceed east along Eighth Avenue Southeast to the Albert Whitted Water Reclamation Facility during July and August.
