Publix, Aldi: New Year’s 2020 Grocery Store Hours In St. Pete

ST. PETERSBURG, FL — While New Year’s Day doesn’t carry the typical culinary fanfare often boasted by Thanksgiving and Christmas, many people might be going the extra mile this year to say goodbye to 2020 and ring in what they hope will be a better year to come.

Whether you’re planning a big Zoom soiree with friends and need extra orange juice for mimosas, or throwing together a tasty New Year’s Day lunch with the family, most grocery stores in St. Pete will be open for the ingredients and snacks you may have forgotten.

Here are the New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day hours for the grocery stores in our town:

ALDI: Most locations will operate on reduced hours Dec. 31 and will close New Year’s Day. Call ahead to confirm hours.

Rollin' Oats: Open Dec. 31 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on New Year's Day.

The Fresh Market: Stores will close at 10 p.m. Dec. 31 and reopen at 8 a.m. New Year’s Day. Pharmacies will be closed on New Year’s Day.

Publix: Open New Year’s Day. Hours will vary by location, with most stores closing between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. Numerous locations throughout St. Pete.

Sam's Club: Open 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Dec. 31. Closed New Year’s Day.
