ST. PETERSBURG, FL — The Tampa Bay Rays' home opener against the New York Yankees at Tropicana Field scheduled Friday has sold out, the team announced.

This is the 15th consecutive season have sold out their home opener, excluding the 2020 season that was played without fans inside the stadium because of the coronavirus pandemic. Tickets are available for the remaining two games in the weekend three-game series against the Yankees, officials said.

As of Monday morning, the Rays are 2-1 after their three-game series in Miami, and the Yankees are 1-2.

Friday's game starts at 3:10 p.m., and it can be watched on Bally Sports Sun, a local channel. All Rays' games are available on WDAE 95.3 FM/620 AM, and more than 150 games are available in Spanish on Genesis 680 AM/92.9 FM, and Caliente 96.1 FM/101.5 FM/1470 AM.

Single-game tickets for all Rays' home games played through May 2 are on sale now. Tickets can be purchased exclusively through the MLB Ballpark app or online at RaysBaseball.com.
