Running A Virtual 5K With Rays Registration Opens
Rays' fans can register to participate in the Second Annual Running with the Rays virtual 5K event, and win prizes after 5K completion.
ST. PETERSBURG, FL — Registration has opened for the Second Annual Running with the Rays, a virtual 5K race.
Participants will be able to walk or run the required 3.1 miles at a location of their choice. The $30 registration fee includes a commemorative finisher's medal modeled after the Rays' 2020 American League Championship trophy, a race bib and finisher's certificate. Runners can upload their race time to the Running with the Rays 5K results platform and post photos on social media with #Rays5K hashtag.
Registrants have the whole month of May to complete the distance. All proceeds benefit the Rays Baseball Foundation and Rowdies Soccer Fund, a 501(c)(3) organization and the official charity of the Rays and Rowdies.
