Sand Bags Available in St. Pete
Twenty bags per vehicle are allowed. Residents with city-issued bags from previous storms are encouraged to bring them for refilling.

Due to possible flood conditions from Tropical Storm Andrea, the city of St. Petersburg is making sand bags available Thursday.
You can pick the bags up from noon - 8 p.m. at two locations:
- Northeast Park, 875 62nd Avenue NE. (located at the Cardinal Drive entrance to Mangrove Bay Golf Course)
- Frank W. Pierce Center/Bartlett Park, 2000 Seventh St. S. (via 22nd Ave. S.)
According to the city, 20 bags per vehicle are allowed. Residents with city-issued bags from previous storms are encouraged to bring them for refilling. Â

Residents are also asked to have identification verifying city residency - a Florida driver's license is preferred.
