Update: Missing St. Pete Man Found Safe
A silver alert has been issued for Edward Tayor, 89, of St. Petersburg. He was last seen Wednesday afternoon leaving his home.

Update: According to the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office Edward Taylor was located at a nearby restaurant in St. Petersburg Wednesday evening.
He has returned to his home and is safe and unharmed, a news release said.
A silver alert was issued for Taylor Wednesday after he left his home to go to the grocery store and did not return.Â
Original Story:Â A silver alert has been issued by the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office for a missing St. Petersburg man.
Edward Taylor, 89, was last seen at about 12:30 p.m. Wednesday leaving his residence at 2424 50th Ave. Lot #68, according to the sheriff's office.
Deputies say Taylor left his residence Wednesday to go to a nearby Winn-Dixie store in the area of 4th Street and 62nd Avenue.Â
Taylor left his home in a four-door 1996 white Lincoln Town Car with Florida license plate l316lB, according to authorities.Â
According to the sheriff's office, Taylor could be considered endangered because he may have the onset of dementia and is diabetic.
He also may not have the medications he needs, deputies said
Taylor is a white male, 5'10" tall and 180 pounds. He has green eyes and gray hair. He was last seen wearing light blue pants and a blue shirt, authorities said.
