SAINT PETERSBURG , FL - The Sons of the American Revolution Saint Petersburg Chapter held a general membership meeting on March 20th via Zoom. The chapter normally holds meetings every third Saturday of each month at the Saint Petersburg Yacht Club at 11:00 am, except for a Summer break between June to August. However, most recent general membership meetings have been via Zoom due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The chapter is anticipating a return to in person meetings in September.

The chapter installed Brett McMullen as President and Harry Fuller as First Vice President.

The guest speaker was David Lawrence, a park guide at the Valley Forge National Historic Park, in which he gave an overview of the history and the present conditions of Valley Forge. Lawrence advised that due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, potential visitors should check the park's website about which facilities may be open or closed.
