St. Pete Man Dies in I-275 Crash
The is the second fatality in as many days on I-275 in St. Petersburg.

A second fatality in as many days happened on I-275 Tuesday when a St. Petersburg man crashed after he lost control of his vehicle.Â
Florida Highway Patrol said Rodney Sheffield, 60, was traveling northbound on I-275 around 3:50 a.m. Tuesday at the 13 milepost marker when he lost control.
According to the incident report, Sheffield was "traveling at a speed too fast for conditions to include rain and a wet road surface."
Sheffield lost control of his car and headed towards the shoulder striking a light pole, a fence and then a drive.
FHP said Sheffield, who was not wearing his seatbelt, died at the scene.Â
