Vaccine Appointments Still Available This Week: Health Department
COVID-19 vaccine appointments are open in Pinellas County for eligible residents, according to the Pinellas County Health Department.

ST. PETERSBURG, FL — Appointments to receive COVID-19 vaccines are still available this week through the Patient Portal, according to the Pinellas County Health Department's website.
It is a possibility that next week's appointment registrations could grow more competitive as Gov. Ron DeSantis is lowering the age to 60 for vaccines on Monday, March 15.
According to the Pinellas County Health Department, residents from the following categories can visit www.PatientPortalFL.com to register for a vaccine appointment:

- Residents age 65 and older
- First and second dose appointments must be scheduled directly, as invitations are no longer being sent.
- Medically vulnerable individuals can schedule at pharmacies, or go to a new federal site with doctor's certification. At this time, county sites are not vaccinating this group.
- K-12 school employees age 50 and older
- Firefighters age 50 and older
- Sworn law enforcement officers age 50 and older
- Health care workers who have direct contact with the public.
