ST. PETERSBURG, FL — A St. Petersburg Domino's Pizza delivery driver's tantrum of disappointment that was caught on camera has gone viral.

A co-worker recorded Malik Ambersley, 23, as he physically expressed frustration for not receiving a tip, Inside Edition reported.

"Five minutes out there in the rain! And no tip? No tip," he screamed as he knocked over a stack of pizza boxes at the store.

"I wasn't having the best day," Ambersley told the outlet. "During the pandemic, things like tips and stuff like that are important for me to be able to feed my family and myself and try to keep a roof over my head.”

Ambersley said no one was inside the store when he had his moment, and his team was very supportive of him. It is frustrating for delivery drivers not to receive tips, especially during the financial uncertainties caused by the coronavirus pandemic.

Inside Edition interviewed an etiquette expert, Thomas Farley, and he said make sure, if the tip is not included, that you're giving anywhere from 10 to 20 percent for the delivery person.

"This (tip amount) is going to go higher if the distance is greater, or if it's inclement weather as well," Farley said.
