Vote For Your Favorite Reader-Submitted Funny Pet Photo

TAMPA BAY, FL -- We had an incredible response to our call-out for your funny pet photos. There were 84 submissions of pets in costume, pets making faces, pet in funny poses and pets whose curiosity got the best of them. We even had a pet pig.

So, it's hardly surprising that our panel of judges had a tough time narrowing their choices to five photos for our readers to vote on using the form below. Hurry up and cast your vote. Voting will end on Sunday, Oct. 7. The person who submitted the photo that garners the most votes will receive a $250 Amazon gift card, just in time for the holiday shopping season.

We had a number submissions that the judges insisted deserved an honorable mention so we will publish those photos on our Patch Facebook pages and share them with our readers.

If the honorable-mention photographers can supply me with an address, I'll send along a Patch tote bag and other goodies in the mail.

I want to thank everyone who participated. Lately, I've had to write several heart-wrenching stories about animal abuse and it's reassuring to know that the majority of people in Tampa Bay love their pets.
