Here are some closures and schedule changes for government offices, facilities and services over the holiday weekend.

ST. PETERSBURG, FL —As St. Petersburg residents prepare to celebrate Christmas on Friday, here are some closures and schedule changes affecting government offices, facilities and services to keep in mind this holiday weekend.

City Services: City Hall and Municipal City Services Center will be closed Friday.

Libraries: All libraries will be closed Friday.

Public Transportation: PSTA buses operate on a holiday (same as Sunday) schedule on Christmas Day.

Community: Recreation centers, golf courses, Boyd Hill Nature Preserve will be closed Friday.

Attractions: Sunken Gardens, Mahaffey Theater and Coliseum will be closed Friday.

Post Office: Closed Friday.

Solid Waste Management: Residential solid waste + recycling collection regularly scheduled for Friday will be made Thurs., Dec. 24. Monday and Tuesday collections remain the same.
