What's Open, Closed In St. Pete Easter Weekend?

St. PETERSBURG, FL — Easter brings a 3-day weekend to many workers and students starting Friday. As the city of St. Pete offices are generally closed for holidays, Good Friday and Easter is not observed by the city, according to its website.

Below are the city buildings and properties open on Good Friday:

• All St. Pete libraries are open, except for the President Barack Obama Library as it closed for a year's worth of renovations starting Thursday, April 1.
• Recreation centers and the Sunshine Center
• Boyd Hill Nature Preserve
• Golf courses: Mangrove Bay, Cypress Links, Twin Brooks
• Neighborhood pools
• Northshore Aquatic Complex
• St. Petersburg City Hall
• Municipal Services

Closures:

• Pinellas County Schools
• First Friday Art Market has been moved to April 9, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
• Rollin' Oats, 2842 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr St N
• All Publix locations
• The Fresh Market (The Easter Bunny is at Fresh Market Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
